Meet Our Founder

Sacred life Sickle cell foundation is a purpose-driven organization committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by sickle cell disorder.
My name is TRACY NWACHUKWU, and I’m the founder of Sacred Life Sickle Cell Foundation. Established in 2023, the Sacred Life Sickle Cell Foundation emerged from a deep, personal understanding of the burdens of SCD. Losing two siblings with sickle cell had an enormous impact on my life, hence our commitment to change and to challenge the stigma by creating access to quality, compassionate healthcare, advocacy, education, and sustainable solutions.

Founded in 2023 Our journey began with the singular goal of building the comprehensive support structure necessary to transform the chronic management of SCD into a pathway for a full life. We have since grown into a formidable national voice for advocacy, research, and patient empowerment.

Our mission is to empower, support, and uplift individuals and families affected by Sickle. We envision a world where sickle cell disorder no longer defines one’s potential or limits a person’s future. A society where individuals living with sickle cell can thrive emotionally, socially and physically and are celebrated as symbols of resilience, courage and possibilities.

We challenge myths and fight stigma with truth by educating the public and amplifying real stories. We’re rewriting the narrative surrounding sickle cell, replacing fear and misunderstanding with knowledge and empathy. We are building a legacy of compassion, impact, and transformation, one that extends hope to every corner of the sickle cell community, through continued awareness. Research support, education, and policy advocacy, Sacred Life Sickle Cell Foundation is defining, together, what it means to live and thrive with sickle cell.
